Well, the time has come to set that alarm clock for an earlier time. It's time to get back into the school-year schedule. The first day of school is an introductory session where the whole school year program will be explained, classrroom rules will be set and students expectations will be identified.
Usually homework are to be about 25-40 min daily and include assignments, test revision and spare time reading.
I recommend you to read books to improve your written and communication skills. We will dedicate 15 minutes per day in the classroom for reading a book , which you can get either from your house or benefit from the classroom library which contains around a 100 book. In addition, we will be visiting the library twice a month for a wider collection of books.
